The Girl and the Butterfly.

There's a challenge at Flourishes called Home Sweet Home. We just have to take a photo of something in our home and make a card which is inspired by it. My 10 years old daughter made a big butterfly about 2 years ago and I took a picture about her holding it. I made a card using the Antique Lace stamp of Flourishes for the background. It was put on the biggest of the Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles dies. Then I also cut one of the Floral Ovals die and I stamped the cute little girl from the Kids At Play stamp set of Flourishes. I also made a vellum butterfly with the Sizzix Butterfly #2. A gorgeous May Arts white silk ribbon was also put with a little butterfly as a decoration. My daughter chose the color of the blue background!

  5. How pretty! I love that you captured your daughter with her creation and how symbolic your card is of that! The silhouette of the girl is very nostalgic and I love all the soft colors and lace!
