Lantern and White Candle.

This morning everything was white... and it's still snowing! So I wanted to make a white card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #122! I embossed the lantern with silver powder. I also put some acetate to make it look like glass. The candle is made on vellum with white embossing powder. Both of them are from the Bright Season stamp set. The white border and background are made on vellum with the Paris Nouveau stamp set. I stitched the edges with my sewing-machine. I just added a felt heart, ribbons, little bells and a rhinestone to finish it off.

  11. I wish you lived next door...I would march right over there and ask you to teach me how to stamp so PERFECTLY on vellum! This is breathtaking, Anne-Elise! Love how you used the Paris Nouveau borders with the lantern. Truly inspired by the snowy view outside your window...I am kind of jealous :)!!
