This week, I chose one of my favorite stamp, the gorgeous butterfly from the Nordic Spring set for the
Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #124. I embossed it on vellum. The background is also made on vellum. I made many little squares with one of the doily of the Dainty Doilies - Large set to make it look like a crocheted blanket. I added two wings made with crackle accents, two Spellbinders hearts and one Marianne Design die cut under the butterfly. I also added two crocheted (the smallest is made by my Mom) and one vellum flower, crocheted lace, a velvet ribbon and some twine. The tag is made with the Opera Tags die cut and the sentiment is from the Opera Tags Stamps. To finish it off I added many little white pearls and a pink button.
Here's the great sketch made by Karin Åkesdotter:
I will also this card to the
Ribbon Reel Challenge #41 'Crochet'. We are asked to create a card using crochet lace or crochet flower plus button and ribbon/twine. Here's the beautiful inspiration photo Zuzana has chosen:

When I see your cards, I always seem to veer towards words like stunning, awesome! This one is superlative, so dainty & you have the best way with vellum. Love the dainty doily blanket, and how marvelous you had a crochet piece from your Mom to add to this lovely card. Truly an heirloom for whomever the recipient may be. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card inspiration. Hugs
