This week, for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #117, I wanted to use my Mini Sewing Room Set dies of Sizzix and so I made a little white dress with lace and cheesecloth. I added many layers under it. First you can see the angel wings made with a Sizzix Heart Wings die. The first ones are distressed and covered with crackle accents and the second ones are made with vellum. Then there's a Fancy Tags Two die of Spellbinders. I also stamped one pink doily from the Waltzingmouse Large Doily stamp set. After that I added a French Pastry doily of Cheery Lynn Designs between two Spellbinders Marvelous Squares dies. The first kraft background is embossed with a Cuttlebug Kassie's Brocade folder. I stitched the edges and added some ribbons, lace, twine and buttons. To finish it off I also added some tiny white pearls. I will also enter this card to the Ribbon Reel Challenge #38.
Here's the sketch made by Kelly Schirmer:
And here's the beautiful photo of inspiration of The Ribbon Reel. We are asked to create a card inspired by the neutral palette in the photo and include a damask pattern, lace / ribbons:
