Here's my card for my first challenge at The Shabby Tea Room:
I was inspired by this beautiful picture of Fran:
Fran asked us to create a card inspired by the photo using lilac, yellow, blue, kraft and a butterfly. I had this idea in my head as soon as I saw the photo, but it took a very long time to do my card... I had to make the background twice, but I think it is quite nice now. The flowers are made with a Sizzix Flowers 3-D die and I painted them with Distress Ink (milled lavender). I also put a yellow brad in the middle of them. The background is made with the Waltzingmouse Gingham & Co stamp set and the little eggs from the Nestie Eggs stamp set. The heart on the little tag is from the Make Your Mark stamp set. The blue and the yellow butterflies are made with a Crealies die. I hope you like it!

White butterfly
I like this white embossed butterfly so much I had to do another card with it! The butterfly is from the Waltzingmouse Nordic Spring stamp set. The flower is from the Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums stamp set. I stamped both of them on vellum. The background is from Gingham & Co stamp set. I also had those sweet wooden white hearts and I put one in each corner. Just added a bow and a brad...

Timeless Tuesday #162
There's a new challenge at Flourishes. The Timeless Tuesday challenge #162 is about Easter. It's the first time I thought about adding a card to a Flourishes challenge. I don't have any Easter Flourishes stamps, but I think that this yellow tulip is nice for an Easter greetings. The tulip is from the Thank You stamp set. The frame is made with the Spellbinders Labels Seventeen dies. I put a tag with a Waltzingmouse text stamp. I just added a double bow and a few green gems and here it is:

Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #90 (WMSC90).
Here's my card for the following Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge:
The pink flower is made with the Waltzingmouse Big Blooms - Chrysanthemums stamp set. The three different parts of the flower are separated with foam pads. I also put a pink brad on the middle of it. I made the top of the background with the Cuttebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and the lower part with little polka dot pattern from the Gingham & Co stamp set. I put some lace in between and of course a tag with the cute little heart with pink and green twine. The card looked a little empty so I added a beautiful butterfly from the Nordic Spring stamp set. I made it with vellum and white embossing powder.
Happy Day!
Have a nice day! Here's a card a made for somebody who has his birthday today!! So happy birthday for all of you who are celebrating this very important day! I colored the beautiful Medallion Motif from Flourishes in blue and grey, made a double bow and put the cute little tag with a heart from the Make Your Mark stamp set of Waltzingmouse.

RCC45-Baking with The Twinery
I saw that there was a challenge at the Ribbon Carousel asking to incorporate baker's twine on the card! I just love twine and wanted to make some pom-poms again... so here's the card I made for a baby boy! The stamp is from the Waltzingmouse Nordic Spring stamps set, the background is made with a Cuttlebug embossing folder named Birds and Swirls. The pom-poms are made the new light baby blue and white (Shore) twine from The Twinery. I also added a little tag with a heart. Finally I put some gems on the big blue heart which is lying on a felt scalloped heart and here it is:

Waltzingmouse sketch challenge #89.
Here's my other card made for the sketch challenge #89 (WMSC89).
The cameo is from the Cameo Creations stamps set. I put some crackle accents on the cameo to create the effect of an old picture. I also put some gems at the corners of the background created with the Spellbinders labels Twenty-Five. I just love this little heart from the Make Your Mark set, so I stamped it on the tag.
Blog Party and Waltzingmouse Challenge #89 (WMSC89).
Here's my green card I made for the Blog Party and the Waltzingmouse Challenge #89. The flower is from the Dainty Doilies stamp set. I also put a green brad on the top of my flower. The little heart on the tag is from the Make Your Mark stamp set and the background from Gingham & Co.
A card for a baby girl
This card was made with one of the Nordic Spring cute stamps. The little heart was made with Make Your Mark stamp set and the text with Fancy Phrases set. The pom-poms were made with pink twine. The background of the heart is made with white felt and I also embossed a piece of white paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder (Birds and Swirls).

Just take a moment and soak up all those details! Look at that beautiful Nestie Easter egg, gently placed on its little nest. How about the pink egg itself, highlighted with green gems. And not to mention the soft, fresh spring color combination.
Congratulations, Anne-Elise! Your project will be added to the Big Cheese highlight album in theWMS Gallery.

My card for the sketch challenge #88 (WMSC88).
Here's the card I made for my first Waltzingmouse sketch challenge. The cute little eggs are from the Waltzingmouse stamps called Nestie Eggs and the text is again made with the Fancy Phrases set.
And here's the sketch designed by Renee Lynch:
First card.
Last week I made this easter card with a beautiful Waltzingmouse stamp set called Nestie Eggs. I used some twine from The Twinery and put some green gems on the egg. The text is written with a stamp from the Fancy Phrases set.
Welcome!
I have been thinking for a long time about having my own blog. We have friends and relatives in many different parts of the world, so it is nice to be able to tell and show everyone at the same time what I'm doing here at home when the children are at school. So then after spending some time on the net trying to figure out how to make a blog, I made it! It's still not completely ready, but it should work! So enjoy and welcome again!
