White Butterfly.

This week, I chose one of my favorite stamp, the gorgeous butterfly from the Nordic Spring set for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #124. I embossed it on vellum. The background is also made on vellum. I made many little squares with one of the doily of the Dainty Doilies - Large set to make it look like a crocheted blanket. I added two wings made with crackle accents, two Spellbinders hearts and one Marianne Design die cut under the butterfly. I also added two crocheted (the smallest is made by my Mom) and one vellum flower, crocheted lace, a velvet ribbon and some twine. The tag is made with the Opera Tags die cut and the sentiment is from the Opera Tags Stamps. To finish it off I added many little white pearls and a pink button.

For You.

I just had time to make a card for the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #121. I chose the beautiful dress from the You're Lovely stamp set. I made a white vellum dress with one of the doily of the Dainty Doilies 2 stamp set. The frame is made with the French Country set. One of the background is made with the Way Out West  and the other one is embossed with the Sizzix Sheet Music Set folder. The sentiment on the tag is from the Opera Tags Stamps. I just added some ribbons and lace and  two flowers. My Mom made the crocheted flower and the vellum one is made with the Sizzix Flowers, 3-D die . To finish it off I added some rhinestones and tiny buttons. It is so dark here today so it wasn't easy to have good photos.

I will also enter this card to the CR84Fn66 Color Challenge. I really love these soft colors.

Love Grows Where You Plant It.

There's a new sketch challenge at Waltzingmouse. This week I chose many different stamp sets. The pink background is made with the Pic-Nic Patterns set and the woodgrain background is from the Way Out West set and it is embossed with white powder. Then I made a vellum doily with the Dainty Doilies 2 Small stamp set. I also made a beautiful vellum flower with the Camellia stamp set. The biggest tag is made with the Opera Tags Stamps set. The sentiment comes from the Vintage Garden Seed Packet. The cute little heart on the small tag is from the Make Your Mark stamp set. I stitched the edges, added some ribbons and twine and a few rhinestones!

I will also enter this card to the Shabby Tea Room challenge. The theme of this week #136 is Rustic Elegance. We are asked to create a card inspired by the colors in the photo and include something rustic and something elegant!

Little Lanterns.

I just received some new Waltzingmouse stamps and of course I wanted to make a card with them! These Little Lanterns are just so pretty! Love them! I added some Spellbinders die cuts (Fancy Tags Two, Marvelous Squares) and the French Pastry doily of Cheery Lynn Designs. The cute little tag is made with the Waltzingmouse Opera Tags stamp set. I put two cute little bells at the end of the twine bow. I embossed the kraft background with the Sizzix Holly Swirls embossing folder. I stitched the edges, added some rhinestones, lace, twine and ribbons to finish it off.
