Beautiful World Tour.

Hello Everyone and welcome to the October Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!! It's time to get those passports ready, grab a cup of coffee and prepare for take off as once again we prepare to travel the world and be inspired by talented girls from all parts of the globe!

This month our hostess is the lovely DINA and our challenge is to CASE each other!!! We've all been inspired by other talented papercrafters at various times and a CASE challenge (Copy And Share Everything) is one of the best ways to get those creative juices flowing! There are so many lovely cards and it was difficult to choose which card to CASE, but I chose THIS beautiful card made by Claudia. The main image of my card is from the Garden Picks stamp set. I made two of the flowers with vellum. I embossed them with white powder and put some tiny golden glass beads on the middle of them. I also put some glossy accents on the jar. The sentiment, Happiness, is from the Cherry Blossoms stamp set. Like Claudia, I stitched many of the layers. The white vellum butterfly  was made with the Fanciful Flourishes stamp set. I just added a button and some ivory jute twine. I also put a sheer satin scalloped edge ribbon, a white velvet ribbon and some lace. The embossed background was made with the Spellbinders Elegance folder. It took a lot of time to make this card and even fall is coming very fast here,  I'm happy with this card which reminds me of the beautiful summer flowers we had. I wish Happiness to all of you!!

Celebrate Color.

Here's another challenge to celebrate Flourishes birthday! This one is all about colors! I made a pretty clean and simple card with the beautiful butterflies from the Fanciful Flourishes stamp set. I cut the butterflies and put them on foam pads. I also scored a frame and put a velvet ribbon with a little tag.

A Banner Day.

It's Flourishes 5th Birthday and to celebrate we are asked to use a banner on our card! I made a white butterfly on vellum with one of the Fanciful Flourishes stamps. I also made some vellum flowers from the Summer Blossoms stamp set. I cut them by hand and added some golden tiny glass beads on the middle. The sentiment comes from the Botanical Bookplates Vol.1. The doily was made with my French Pastry die of Cheery Lynn Designs. The dark grey frame was made with one of the Romantic Rectangles of Spellbinders. The papers used for the banner are from My Minds Eye. I just stitched the edges and here it is:
